When fishing with a 9-foot (275 cm) long fly rod, it is in many circumstances nice to make the leader with the tippet together in the same length as the fly rod. With these 7.5-foot leaders, there is still room to extend the leader with a piece of tippet material, without ending up longer than the rod length.
The Euro Flies Supple Butt Tapered Leaders 7.5ft have an extra flexible section so that the loop remains as small as possible during casting and the leader turns over smoothly with the fly. This makes for a very calm and natural presentation. Fishing with a dry fly, nymph and small streamer is therefore ideal in combination with Supple Butt leaders.
All Euro Flies Supple Butt Tapered Leaders are fitted with a loop so that the leader can easily be attached to the loop of the fly line.
