Vision Merisuola Predator Rod

The Merisuola Predator-series by Vision is strengthened with graphene. The action of this fly-rod is a little softer compared with that of the Merisuola Graphene series. The Merisuola Predator is especially designed for casting large streamers for predatory fish of impressive size in fresh, brackish and salt water. The fly-rods are equipped with EVA grips. These grips provide a lot of grip and absorb the blows during fishing. These Merisuola Predator fly-rods contain everything that fly-fishers have wished for in the last twenty years.

Vision Grand Daddy Fly Line

The Vision Grand Daddy fly-lines are the successors of the famous Vision Big Daddy fly-lines. The coating has been improved with which the line is even more supple and durable. This new version has a belly with a length of 8.5 meters. The taper at the front has been shortened and the taper at the back has been lengthened somewhat. This line is even more powerful because of this than the earlier model and it is perfectly balanced.

The coating is very smooth and supple and performs well in all weather circumstances. The ready-to-use loops on both ends make it easier to attach the leader and backing.

Fly Supply delivers this set standard with a floating Vision Grand daddy fly-line. If you wish, it is also possible to have an intermediate or sinking fly-line spooled on the reel. You can write down the type of Grand Daddy fly-line that you would like to see on the reel, when finishing your order, in the field with remarks.

Vision XO Predator Reel

The amazing look of the XO fly-reel combined with the bomb-proof and powerful drag-system of the XLB-reel. The drag-system has been used for over twenty years already and a great many huge fish have been landed with it, this is now mounted in this solid fly-reel. On these reels, the drag-system is better sealed than on the earlier models. These large fly-reels are aimed for use on, for example, large salmon and saltwater. The drag force increases in 2.5 turns, with which you can apply up to a maximum of eight kilograms. The seals make use of shaft-seals of the German Ina and all bearings come from Japan.

Vision Dacspun High Strength Backing

A Vision innovation. This backing has a quarter more strength, but is still a quarter thinner than the regular Dacron backing. It is a combination of strong Dyneema fibres and Dacron. The composition is developed in such a way that it will not cut in itself on the reel.
